Warts and Verruca's are small, rough lumps or growths on your skin. A wart on the sole of your foot is called a verruca. A wart on the finger is normally referred to as a wart. Many people get a wart or verruca at some point in their lives. They’re most common in school-age children and teenagers.

WHAT IS A VERRUCA ?
A Verruca is also known as a plantar wart. It usually appears on the sole of the foot but can also appear on the toes, fingers, face, genitals in varies size.  care should be taken as they are highly contagious.

SYMPTOMS OF VERRUCA'S
Some verruca's may be particularly painful on weight-bearing
They vary in size from 1mm to over a centimetre across. They also vary in shape too. The surface of the verruca is usually covered with small black dots. These are blood vessels and are usually surrounded by hard skin they can also have a rough raised surface. They can also appear under a larger callus that becomes very painful as the callous and verruca grows.

TREATMENT

1- 3 treatments at 1-2 weekly intervals (its effectiveness is 96% of 1-3 treatments)
VerruTop is an new revelation in wart treatment in the UK & proven very successful. Unlike Cryotherapy or other chemical treatments, VerruTop does not act by freezing or Caustic burning of the tissue. Instead it denatures the viral protein and desiccates the wart tissue, which then falls off the skin, leaving intact skin underneath
Treatment is normally quick and painless although some children may experience a temporary discomfort, stinging to slight tenderness.

After the treatment your child will be able  carry on with your day as normal.
