Plantar fasciitis is an inflammation of the fibrous tissue (plantar fascia) along the bottom of your foot that connects your heel bone to your toes. Plantar fasciitis can cause intense heel pain. Heel pain is the primary symptom of plantar fasciitis, especially evident in the following conditions: Pain and stiffness in the morning that gets worse as the day progresses Pain which gets worse when climbing stairs or standing on toes Pain after standing for long periods I offer a treatment that has helped many of my clients and it is a gentle deep tissue massage of the foot and lower leg The benefits and results of this specialist massage have been numerous. The massage relaxes the Plantar Fascia stimulates blood circulation and the plantar tissue that has been over stretched which in return releases tension in the plantar reducing discomfort and pain considerably.
