Ingrown toenail removal (non-surgical)
Service Description
An ingrown toenail is where the edge of your nail agitates the tissues surrounding the nail. It can cause inflammation and redness, often causing discomfort, particularly when your toes are under pressure or in tight shoes. Also, if your toenails are incorrectly trimmed, it can cause your nail to ingrow. Your nail induces an inflammatory response in the surrounding skin as it tries to expel the nail edge, causing the nail to become sore to any pressure and possibly become infected. Treatment Assessment of your nail(s), antiseptic/antimicrobial soak, allowing the tissues to soften, and a simple removal of the nail spike or cutting back of the curved edge. It is a simple non surgical process.

Unfortunately, when one patient cancels without giving enough notice, they prevent another patient from being seen. Please call us on 07832 127 433 by 2:00 p.m. on the day prior to your scheduled appointment to notify us of any changes or cancellations. To cancel a Monday appointment, please call our office by 5:00pm on Friday. If prior notification is not given you will be charged £20.00 for the missed appointment. If there are genuine circumstances as to why you cant attend your appointment, please call the reception at your earliest convenience. Charges will only be applicable at the managements discretion.
